Job Description

The Project Manager will lead end-to-end technology, digital, and business transformation projects within the banking and financial services domain. The role will manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, compliance, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders while ensuring successful delivery and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT, digital, and business transformation projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, documentation, and progress dashboards.
• Coordinate IT, Operations, Risk, Finance, Digital, and CX teams.
• Manage external vendors, deliverables, SLAs, and integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with CBSL, ISMS, audit, and governance standards.
• Manage project risks, maintain registers, and escalate issues promptly.
• Oversee project closure, reviews, and handover to BAU teams.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, IS, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience managing IT or transformation projects.
• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or process improvement.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and communication skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or AgilePM certification is an added advantage.
